This spot is extraordinary and roomy, the meals was delicious and the prices were very fair. quickly, effective service and very attentive waiters. I recommend this place.
Good authentic food. Great service. Like it a bit hotter tho.
Nice atmosphere, the service was good the food was delicious
The food consistency is all over the place. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it isn't. We order pretty much the same thing and we always get spice level 2, but it's very inconsistent. One of the staff members is very rude there.
Got carry out. The food was bland and overpriced. We ordered the steamed dumplings and for $7 we only got 4 steamed dumplings. The tropical fried rice had next to no taste and no cashews. The panang curry was pretty good and had good spice. Overall I don't think we'll be back.
The only reason this place is still a hidden gem is its location. The food never disappoints. Boasting a wide variety of curries, noodles, and seafood, the drink menu is quite robust. On a recent Friday night, I had the pleasure of trying the Rose Margarita made with Rose French liqueur and Patron. This specialty will surely become a house favorite in no time.
We loved the presentation and flavor. The one star menu items were just a tad bit too spicy for me but manageable. I will go back!
Customer service was lacking. I called & a man answers “hi how can I help you?” I gave him my order & he says “$18.02 bye” & hangs up. When I pick up my order, he sets the order down & waits for my payment. I ask him “how much is it?” I know he told me over the phone, but I asked just in case I misheard him. He sighs & says “$18.02.” I guess my question was an inconvenience. I hand him a $20 & tell him no change. I ordered a pad thai with tofu & thai iced coffee. Pad thai was good but nothing extraordinarily. Thai iced coffee tasted a little sour & they didn’t even fill it up to the top.
Delicious food, and easy to customize.
Awesome place, but pricey
Delicious food! Good service and cool ambiance
Delicious soft crab and cashew chicken. Service is amazing and very active. Water is refilled very often. 100% recommend
The food here has just gone down over the years. If you go to House of Thai in Gaithersburg' you will never return to Thai Aroma. First of all' they lack listening skills and continually talk while you're placing an order' missing important information. My recommendation' they should shut down and take time to rebrand.Food just too bland. If you want to try really authentic Thai food, go to house of thai in Gaithersburg and the owner is just an awesome man. He studies his customers and meets their needs. It's a really small place but very much worth it. If I could give thai aroma 1/2 a point today's I would do so. The food looks like it has coronaV in it.Customer service mattersQuality matters. This is just like Chinese food' no difference. A lot of improvement needed at thai aroma.Stale shrimp' the drunken noodles scary looking' has liquid in it. Never seen before.
Charming, little place with big flavors. Had the stir fry string beans and pad thai- excellent and giant portions to share.
Very good curry and appetizers. The flavor was authentic. Friendly service.
I have never been disappointed by anything I have gotten here. Almost everything can be made vegan, which is awesome. I usually get the Thai basil krapow with crispy eggplant and it is AMAZING. I have also gotten their soup and other appys and they were all good. We got the curry veggie puffs last time and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place.
Nice food
Good Thai food at a good price. Friendly staff.
My family and I have been going here for about 12 years. We all love the food, especially the Chawa Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, Phad Thai, Tom Ka Gai soup, Chicken Fried Rice, Volcano Shrimp, Fried Spring rolls. Yum. Yum. Yum.
One of our go-to places for takeout during quarantine. Portions are generous and ingredients fresh. We especially like the Andrew Bowl, glass noodle salad and pad see-ew.
This is not a food review. This is a customer service review! Kurt was awesome and friendly. I just went in to ask if a certain soup was on the menu. It wasn't, but Kurt gave me some advice on how to make it at home. So thanks Thai Aroma!!
We normally love the pad Thai and panang chicken, but in our most recent order, the noodles were absolute mush. Really unappetizing.
Good food. Especially, Thai Basil Fried Rice and Spicy Fried Tilapia.
This place has the best Thai food I have tried so far. Service was great. I plan to go back again and again until I taste everything on the menu.
Excellent Thai restaurant! Our favorite place to come!
Great authentic dishes.
Would surely recommend trying out this place. Exceptional ambience, delightful dishes, great service. Highly recommended.
Wonderful atmosphere and super attentive service. The menu was crisp and delicious. Will surely recommend this restaurant to others. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Good job.
Seafood combo basil rice👍
I admire this spot! They prepare tasty meals, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that place is a specialist, I love a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always tasty, the service towards the clients is good. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend this place.
I got drunken noodles but wasn’t really that good. Shrimp was overcooked and noodles didn’t have much flavor. I probably won’t eat it again.
The service was very poor, very slow and no attention to our table, the apps were late. The food did not come out together and water glasses were not kept full. The food was flavorful but did not make up for lack of service at the table. The assorted seafood mix in the was very limited for the extra 5.00 cost not worth it! I would suggest you try other restaurants before you try this one again.
So gooooooooood. I come here at most once a week and the servers are always welcoming. The food is the best Thai food in this area. I recommend the Pad Thai Chicken. You won't regret coming here.
The Pad Thai is excellent. l rated it 3 Stars for the taste, though slightly priced higher than what I've paid in other places. I've ordered the chicken and seafood Pad Thai. Both are good. Although the seafood is priced much higher by 33%. The portions are smaller than other Thai restaurants. My only suggestion is to either lower the price accordingly or increase the portions in line with other Thai restaurants. Then i would increase the Star rating.
More than a little empty during my visit, the service was fast and attentive. Chicken pad thai is the intro meal for a Thai restaurant. I've had better, but not for a long time. This is good if basic. I asked for it hot and was not disappointed. Table modifiers, like pepper sauces, would have been nice options to have but the food was good without them.
I've been here a few times and the food is always excellent. Definitely try the drunken noodles, the lemongrass beef, and the curry pockets for an appetizer. If you're in the mood for dessert, both the taro and pumpkin custards are amazing!
Excellent Thai food - been going here for years and consistently good. Great flavor and right amount of spice.
Best Thai food in the area! The flavors in each dish are authentic and they have several vegetarian options. I recommend the drunken noodles and eggplant krapow
Poor experience. Our carry out soup came half empty. Won't be back.
I like the taste, but always have some issues with my tummy when I eat here.
First time eating here and planning a return soon. I had Panang curry it was amazing. My wife got two full meals from a to go drunken noodles. Excellent chef, portions, and value.
Food is great. Modifications are easily made to food for vegetarians. Staff is very friendly and service is quick.
I have been going to this restaurant once a week for over 2 years. Best Pad See Ew I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and service is always fast. I only wish I lived closer.
Everything I've ever eating here is delicious!I love the ginger stir-fry with soft duck. The pad see-ew with beef is incredible. The mango sticky rice has a sweet and flavorful rice with perfectly ripened mango. My go to thai dish is always drunken noodles with chicken, extra spicey, and of course it's delicious at Thai Aroma. I've been to other Thai restaurants in the area and this is hands down the best around!
Great Thai food!
Decent food, fast service, friendly staff
This restaurant is awesome. We have visited about 4 times now. The last time we ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees and every single one was great.
Good service, mediocre food. The staff were very attentive and kind. The menu & staff showed that they understood gluten free dishes; however, the dishes weren't quite as flavorful as other Thai restaurants. Given that the restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center with an Asian market, I expected more.
Absolutely love their food. We've been there times and every meal had been absolutely delicious, extremely flavourful, and very affordable. If anyone in the area brings up Thai food, I recommend Thai Aroma.
Thai Aroma is a lovely restaurant serving delicious delicious food. My sweetheart and I have been going there for more than ten years and they've never disappointed! Their prices are reasonable and their entree portions are generous. Add to these a charming, attentive staff and you have a winning combination!
